Updates & Impacts Due to COVID-19 Safety Protocols

Per UBC’s latest updates, masks will not be required for indoor public spaces to start the Fall 2022 academic session. Although not required, the wearing of masks for indoor public spaces is recommended. 

All visitors should continue to self-assess prior to your visit and kindly asked to remain at home if they feel unwell.

UBC Camps – COVID Update

Please do not send your child to camp if they are unwell. Camp activities will occur without physical distancing. Hand sanitizer will be available and must be used upon arrival and departure from camp.

Masks not required after June 30

Per UBC’s latest update, masks will no longer be required in public indoor spaces after June 30.

Masks Required Indoors Through June 30

Please note that UBC continues to require masks in public indoor spaces through April 30, 2022. Masks may be removed during physical activity and exercise.

Masks Required, Vaccination Proof Not Required

Beginning April 8, proof of vaccination is no longer required. UBC’s requirement for masks to be worn throughout its indoor spaces remains in place through April 30.

Safety Practices

Do a self-assessment, please stay at home if you are sick

Advanced reservations and bookings required for some programs/activities

Face masks are recommended for ages 5 and older

Water fountains are encouraged to be used for refilling of water bottles only

Cover your cough or sneeze with your elbow

Wash hands thoroughly & frequently

Use hand sanitizer if you are unable to wash your hands

Additional Safety Information

  • On-site, daily screening are no longer required, but please do not visit if you feel unwell.
  • In-person purchases or transactions are cashless and only credit (Mastercard or Visa) or debit is accepted.
