Updates & Impacts Due to COVID-19 Safety Protocols

Per UBC’s latest updates, masks will be required for indoor public spaces through June 30. After this date, the wearing of masks will be up to individuals. 

Proof of vaccination is no longer required as of April 8. Additional measures may be in place for specific facilities and programs.

All visitors should continue to self-assess prior to your visit & please do not visit if you feel unwell.

UBC Camps – COVID Update

All campers age 5 and older participating in indoor camps are required to wear a face mask except during physical activity, snack, lunch, or water breaks. All UBC Camps staff will wear masks when indoors. A reminder that: Campers are only permitted to attend one camp per week and changes to camp groups are prohibited. On-site, daily screening are no longer required, but please do not send your child to camp if they feel unwell.

Masks Required Indoors Through June 30

Please note that UBC continues to require masks in public indoor spaces through April 30, 2022. Masks may be removed during physical activity and exercise.

Masks Required, Vaccination Proof Not Required

Beginning April 8, proof of vaccination is no longer required. UBC’s requirement for masks to be worn throughout its indoor spaces remains in place through April 30.

Safety Practices

Do a self-assessment, please stay at home if you are sick

Advanced reservations and bookings required for some programs/activities

Face masks are required for ages 5 and older

Water fountains are encouraged to be used for refilling of water bottles only

Cover your cough or sneeze with your elbow

Wash hands thoroughly & frequently

Use hand sanitizer if you are unable to wash your hands

Additional Safety Information

  • In-person purchases or transactions are cashless and only credit (Mastercard or Visa) or debit is accepted.
