Looking to sample a class before fully registering, or interested in finding open studio space for drop in dance or drop in martial arts? UBC Recreation offers a variety of opportunities for users to try a class, access the fitness centre for a one-time pass, or use facility studio space for casual participation in drop-in activities when it is available.

The Drop in rates below grant a one-time access into the associated class or program on the day of purchase.

What is Drop-in Classes? Users will pay the Drop In Classes rate to attend a Fitness Class or program once, typically on the day of purchase, to sample or try the class.

What is Drop-in? Outside of dance and martial arts, this refers to times within the SRC and ARC studios when patrons have free access to this space for various casual participation activities. This includes but is not limited to: table tennis and use of the speed/punching bags.

What is Drop-in Dance? Patrons or groups of patrons (no more than 4 people in one group) are able to use studio space for dancing when it is available for drop in activities.

What is Drop-in Martial Arts? Patrons or groups of patrons (no more than 4 people in one group) are able to use studio space for martial arts when it is available for drop in activities.

Drop In Sports refers to the programmed or non-programmed times in the SRC Gymnasiums where patrons are given the space and time to do the activities as outlined in the calendar or schedule.
