  • Functional training space
  • Scheduled studio drop-in with speed and heavy punching bags

The ARC is located in the UBC Life Building (formerly the old Student Union Building) on the lower and main levels of the building. As of summer 2022, there  is ongoing construction around the Life Building, so access to the lower level (fitness centre and change room areas) of the ARC is most readily accessed by either the elevator in the centre of the building or the east and south stairwells.

Current fitness memberships at the BirdCoop will also be valid at the ARC until their expiration. Community, staff, and faculty memberships (1 month, 4 month, 8 month, and 1 year) will be valid for access to the ARC (and the BirdCoop) for the duration of their term. Student memberships begin at $42.50/term and are valid from September 1 onwards. For more information about Fitness Centre memberships.
