Free fitness and aqua fitness classes are running all week and there are numerous open houses with free activities and giveaways. You won’t want to miss out! No experience is required for any of the classes and all abilities are welcome! Winter Intramural Leagues

Intramural Leagues offer unique opportunities to have fun, be active, and make friends on campus! UBC Recreation offers leagues in: Soccer, Futsal, Ice Hockey, Dodgeball, Ultimate, Inner Tube Water Polo, Flag Football, Volleyball, and Basketball. Check out the online listing of leagues to learn more!

Free Skate at the Doug Mitchell Thunderbird Sports Centre

Every week the Doug Mitchell Thunderbird Sports Centre hosts a variety of public skating opportunities. Join us for a free skate to kick-off the semester! Don’t have a pair of skates? UBC Aquatic Centre Open House

Thursday, January 17 | 5:00pm – 7:00pm

Come check out the UBC Aquatic Centre and try some free programs! Bring your swimsuit and towel for in-water activities! There will be free entrance to the aquatic centre for the duration of the open house. The Wibit Inflatable Obstacle Course will be set up from 5:30pm to 6:30! On the Button Curling Bonspiel

HURRY HARD! Sweep those winter blues away with a fun night of curling. Whether it’s your first time on the ice or you’re a seasoned sweeper this tournament is a great way to try a national pastime. Spend the night bonding with friends by sweeping your way to victory! You can sign up for one of two different time slots!

Looking for a challenge of mind, body and team? Prefer “unconventional” activities? Then come play with us at Gladiator! This event is filled with non-stop action, guaranteed laughter and the crowning of UBC’s very own Gladiator. Teams of 6-10 compete in different Gladiator style activities. Get ready for lots of inflatable action in the SRC!
