Get Into Movement Challenge

Are you new to movement? Are you looking for ways to make movement into your daily routine? Are you hoping to learn more about movement, sleep, and mindfulness? If so, then join our challenge! For the month of November, we will focus on moving more, getting good quality sleep, and practicing mindfulness! This challenge will teach you about the Canadian 24-Hour Movement Guidelines, and provide tips on how to integrate movement, sleep, and mindfulness more easily into your daily routines. On this self-discovery journey, the ultimate goal is to help you to explore ways to move and practice mindfulness that you enjoy.

Important Details:

Who: Any UBC Student, Staff, Faculty, or community member can join.

When: This program is 30 days long, from November 1 – 30, 2022. Late registration is okay! Just be sure to complete any days missed.

Where: This will be a virtual challenge, with opportunities to join live events, some virtual and some in-person. Attendance is not mandatory, but highly encouraged.


How to participate:

  1. Register for the Get Into Movement Challenge 
  2. Check your email daily to view the challenge calendar. Each day, open the corresponding calendar tile to read the message, and do the activity or journaling.
  3. Submit your journaling entry or a picture of your activity to be entered to win a prize!
