  • Part Three - Work Experience

    Please answer the following questions with examples from your previous work experience:

  • You arrive to work on time and start setting up the Event Hall, everything is going smoothly regarding the tables, chairs and decor. Just one hour until wedding guests are scheduled to arrive, the caterer shares with you that they have no linen for the tables. All of the place settings, centerpieces, etc.. are ready to go but there are no tablecloths. The caterer's head office is in Langley and you are at the Boathouse in Richmond. How would you handle this situation?
  • Part Four - Personal Questions

    Please answer the questions below:
  • Are you flexible with availability and willing to work weekends and weekdays? A typical wedding shift can last 12+hours with a mid-day start and often a very late finish (ex. 3am)
  • Do you feel you are able and willing to do the set up and take down of equipment, including tables and chairs as required by this position? Have you had any other experience with this type of physical work? Please note that Venue Coordinators work on their own during a typical event shift.
