After you sign up for your race, please expect email communications from our Storm the Wall team during the week of March 9.
Register by Friday, March 13, 2026. We encourage all patrons to review the “How to Register for Storm the Wall” (steps below) prior to registering to guide you through the process.
Once you have reviewed the registration process, jump down to ‘Races & Registration‘ to get started!
Teams are comprised of 5 individuals, and you can have up to 8 people on your roster as alternates, but only five (5) will participate in the race. You will need your teammates student numbers, emails, and availability for event heats and clinics.
If you are registering as an Iron Person (you complete the course on your own), or as a Free Agent (register as an individual to be placed on a team) jump to Step 2.
Step 2: Register for a heat
Prior to registering, please review the Storm the Wall Team Structure so you know what event heat/category is right for you.
If you are registering as a team, you will need to designate a captain (only the captain needs to register for the team, and the fee is for the whole team). When you are ready to register, find a race time that works for you and/or your teammates below, and follow the online registration process. Please ensure all your contact information is correct and up to date.
Step 3: Register for a clinic
After successfully registering, the captain will receive a 'registration confirmation' email within 1 - 5 business days. This email will contain the following important information and next steps:
A link to clinic registration will be provided. Clinics are mandatory, and take place March 16 - 20, 2026. Failure to register for a clinic will make you ineligible to race.
Waiver link, please have yourself and your team members sign this prior to clinics.
Once you have registered for a heat and clinic time, you are successfully registered for Storm the Wall 2026. Please check your email for required steps leading up to the event date. For any questions or inquiries, please email storm.the.wall@ubc.ca.
