Sara Nussle

Bio

Sara has trained in Ballet (R.A.D), Jazz, Lyrical, Contemporary, Modern, Hip-Hop, Tap and Musical Theater. She grew up taking recreational dance classes then later decided to advance her dance skills and train more vigorously at Caulfield School of Dance. At CSD Sara trained competitively and was at part of the schools Performance Training Company. With that said, Sara along with her team of fellow dancers won numerous awards, scholarships and preforming opportunities at prestigious events such as the Red Robinson Theater in the Provincial Honors Performance. Sara completed her Royal Academy of Dance Advanced One Vocational examination in spring of 2011 and was part of The Vancouver Ballet Society’s Spring Seminar. Sara has decided to continue her passion for dance through teaching. Sara mostly teaches recreational programs for children ages 3-12, and beginner dance programs for adults of all ages. Although Sara was accepted with a scholarship into SFU Dance program immediately after her early graduation from high school in 2012, she decided she would like to keep her passion for dance as a hobby and her academics as a career. Sara strongly believes in living a balanced lifestyle. Thus, Sara now attends The University of British Columbia and teaches children and adult classes alongside being a full-time student. In her classes she strives to provide a nurturing environment where students can challenge their physical literacy and dance technique on their own levels.
