Summer Camps Start!

July 2, 2024

UBC Camps’ summer camps start on the first week of July! They offer a variety of summer camps for kids ages 3-17, if you’re interested in registering, there are a few spots left. Check the UBC Recreation website for more information.


Drop-In Skating Returns

July 8, 2024

Want to cool down from the warm weather? The Arena will be open throughout July and the Drop-In Ice programs will be happening on a daily basis.


Fall 2024 Community Programs Open for Registration

July 9 & 10

Mark your calendars for the following important registration open dates:

  • Aquatics, Baseball, Fitness, Rowing and Adult Tennis | Tuesday, July 9 @ 1PM
  • TriDu, Ice and Youth Tennis | Wednesday, July 10 @ 1PM

Registration for UBC student programs such as Intramurals Events and Leagues will open in late August.


Wellbeing Walk & Roll | Climate Walk

July 28, 2024

Join us for a FREE walk around campus led by the MOVE U Crew. Participants will leave educated on ways to identify climate impacts and existing community assets through this guided Campus Climate Walk. 


Playoffs Begin for Summer T-Bird Leagues

July 23, 24 and 25

Playoffs for the Soccer and Softball Thunderbird Summer Leagues will take place in late July. Playoff start on:

  • Tuesday, July 23 – Soccer
  • Wednesday, July 24 and Thursday, July 25 – Softball

Olympic Tennis Mixer

Join us in anticipation of the Paris 2024 Olympics for a coach-organized social event focused on maximizing doubles play and making new tennis friends!


Drowning Prevention Week

July 21 – 27

The third week of July is the annual initiative of the Lifesaving Society aimed at reducing the number of drowning incidents by promoting safety messages in the community. Join us at the UBC Aquatic Centre throughout the week for exciting activities and opportunities to learn more!
