Welcome to UBC Recreation Fitness & Classes

UBC Rec’s fitness programs are dedicated to improving the health and wellbeing of the UBC community. Two fitness centres (at the ARC and Rec North) and multiple studio spaces spread across the Point Grey campus offer a variety of spaces to workout. Additionally, Women (Trans Women Welcome) & Two-Spirit, Trans, Non-Binary (2STNB) fitness hours, a bouldering cave, various fitness classes, and personal training are also offered.

Student Rates & Eligibility | What to Expect for Fall 2026

Most UBC students will qualify for discounted rates to access recreation programs and facilities. Incoming and returning UBC students will have student eligibility for the Fall 2026 session in late August 2026. Learn more about how to register for your programs here.
