Tips for Preparing for Your First Day
READ YOUR PRE-CAMP EMAIL
On the Thursday or Friday before your camp is scheduled to begin you will receive a pre-camp email with all
relevant camp details. This email includes: camp location, pick up and drop off location, a complimentary parking
permit, a list of items to bring to camp, your required consent form(s), and other important information. Please
read this email very carefully.
SIGN ALL CONSENT FORMS
Prior to the first day of camp, please ensure to complete all requires consent form(s) and either scan and email them ahead of time to
ubc.camps@ubc.ca, or bring them with you the first day of camp.

If you would like more information or have further questions about your upcoming camp experience, do not hesitate to reach out!
WHAT TO BRING TO CAMP?
- Water Bottle
- Snacks (typically one morning and one afternoon snack)
- Packed Lunch (non-microwavable)
- Athletic Shoes
- Sweater or Jacket
- Comfortable, breathable clothing
- Sunscreen
- Hat
These are suggestions! We know that every camper and camp is different, and may have unique needs.
WHAT NOT TO BRING TO CAMP
- Money
- Electronics (cell phones, portable game devices, or music players)
- Other valuables
