Welcome to UBC Recreation’s Free Week – a week when you can try out a variety of fitness classes for free! Open to UBC Students, UBC Staff & Faculty, and the public, programs are available across several recreation facilities at UBC Vancouver’s Point Grey campus. No experience is required for any of the classes and all abilities are welcome! Please note Free Week only applies to fitness classes.

How to Participate:

  • FREE advanced registration is required.
  • Registration opens 24 hours prior to the scheduled start time of each class.
  • Use your online UBC Recreation Login to sign-up.
  • Please arrive at the class location 5 – 15 minutes before the start time to check-in and claim your spot.
    • Note: 5 minutes prior to class start time any unclaimed spots will be given to walk-ins who are on the waitlist.

If the class you want to attend is full, please register for the waitlist and stop by the class as any unclaimed spots will become available 5 minutes prior to the class start time.
