Thursdays Are Student Nights at the Aquatic Centre!
Starting Jan 15th, on Thursdays from 8:00 pm onwards, the Aquatic Centre hosts drop-in facility hours exclusively to UBC students! Whether you want to chill in the hot tub, relax in the sauna or play basketball in the leisure pool – do whatever floats your boat!
176 TSC Athletes Receive Academic Thunderbird award for the 2024-25 Academic Year
The TSC Academic Thunderbird Award honours student-athletes who have excelled in the classroom as well as their competitive field. Creative Jersey Contest 2025
This year’s Jersey Contest brought out the creativity, team spirit, and serious style from across our leagues! Over the term, teams rallied their most imaginative designers, grabbed their boldest colors, and showcased jerseys that were as unique as the players wearing them. From hand-painted masterpieces to cleverly crafted themes, the entries rolled in with impressive energy and originality. Let’s recap the fun!
Winter Break Reduced Hours & Closures
All UBC Recreation Sport Facilities will have adjusted hours from December 2025 to January 2026. We encourage guests to plan ahead when visiting our facilities.
Student Fitness Memberships Starting at $60
Winter (Jan-Apr) fitness memberships will be available for purchase on Dec 17 at 1pm.
