An elevated, three-lane track sits above the gymnasiums on the eastern portion of the Rec North building. The 200m track is perfect for warm-ups, walking meetings, and training.

Track will be closed on September 17 from 6am to 1pm.

To use the track, visit the L2 Fitness Desk via the main staircase. Scan your UBC Card to get a wrist band before entering the track.

Rules & Etiquette

  • Track traffic moves in a counter clockwise direction.
  • Slower traffic should use the outside lanes and allow others to pass on the left or inner lanes.
  • No stopping while on track – please use the corners and warm-up/stretching zones to rest.
  • No spiked footwear is permitted on track.
