Welcome to UBC Recreation Fitness & Classes

UBC Fitness Programs are dedicated to the health and wellbeing of the UBC Community. We have two fitness facilities: The BirdCoop Fitness Centre and the ARC Fitness Centre. These facilities offer gym memberships, Women (Trans Women Welcome) & Two-Spirit, Trans, Non-Binary (2STNB) fitness hours, climbing cave, a variety of fitness classes, as well as personal training for individuals of all fitness levels.

ARC Fitness Centre: Weekday Access After 7 PM

Guests of the ARC Fitness Centre should be aware that the UBC Life Building closes at 7:00pm on weekdays, and that alternative entrances will need to be used when visiting the ARC on weekdays between 7:00pm – closing.


Victoria Day Reduced Hours

May 6, 2024

UBC Recreation’s Sports Facilities will have adjusted hours on Monday, May 20 for Victoria Day. We encourage guests to plan ahead if they are planning to visit our facilities.
