Lockers & Locker Rentals

Lockers at Rec North are sold out for the winter term.

Please visit the respective facility front desk for locker rentals. Long term lockers are sold on a first-come, first served basis.

Rental term dates: Fall (Sep 1 – Dec 31); Winter (Jan 1 – Apr 30); Spring/summer (May 1 – Aug 30). Please note that the UBC Aquatic Centre will be closed for annual maintenance from late March through the end of April.

Only debit or credit card payment is accepted for long term locker rentals.

Only one (1) total locker rental is permitted across the Rec North, ARC, SRC, and UBC Aquatic Centre facilities.
Deposit must be paid by credit card or debit card
I agree that I will not damage or alter the locker
I agree that I can only access the locker while I am using the facilities
I agree that I will renew or clear by locker by 12 pm (noon) on the agreement end date and return my lock to the front desk in order to get my deposit back.
I agree that the time on the agreement end date may change subject to facility needs and I am aware that I will be advised by staff if it does change.
I agree that if I fail to abide by the above conditions my items will be removed, bagged and left at the front desk for 1 week.
UBC Recreation is not responsible for lost or damaged property or contents of the locker
Locker rentals are non-refundable and non-transferable
UBC Recreation reserves the right to access the locker at any time, without notice, for reasonable cause; including but not limited to, suspicion of possession of illegal property, complaints, inappropriate use of locker, or facility matters.

Bring your own lock to use with the available labelled, short-term lockers
Maximum 2 hours while using the facility
All locks and content remaining are removed at the end of the day.Any items left in specific Short-Term lockers after the facility has closed will be removed and stored on site. There is a subsequent fee of $25 for locker cleaning and storage that must be paid prior to obtaining belongings.
Any locks cut in this process will not be reimbursed
In the event an individuals items remain in a Short-Term locker beyond the allocated time (2 hours) a $25 fee will be charged for the removal of the items and cleaning of the locker.

UBC Recreation is not liable for any lost, stolen, misplaced, or broken items through the use of Short-Term lockers at Rec North or the ARC

Hourly use lockers are available for $0.25 or $1.00 depending on the size of the locker.
Maximum 3 hours while using the facility
Lockers are located in the Universal, Women’s and Men’s changing spaces,

Exchange UBC Card or government ID at the front desk for locker keys to be used with free lockers
Maximum 2 hours while using the facility
Passports, Nexus Cards, and SIN cards, are not accepted
Locker keys that are lost and/or returned after the time limit will result in a $15.00 charge.
