Teams and individuals registering in TAHL programs will be required to register online using a UBC Recreation login. If you have not previously registered in a recreation program, you will need to set up a new online login.
Team Registration
Only the team captain from a team will need to register.
Carefully read the description of each division and register accordingly.

Individual Player Registration
When completing online registration, individual players are submitting a request to be placed on a team.
No payment is collected at the time of registration.
Once registered, the league administrator will be in contact to place individual players on a team and details of payment.
Winter TAHL (September – April)
Season Dates: September 8, 2024 – April 30, 2025
Registration: July 10, 2024 – September 31, 2024
League Format:
24 regular season games, 2 playoff games minimum
5 vs 5 CARHA Adult Recreation Hockey Rules
Competitive divisions ranging from limited hockey experience to Junior+. Tiering games ensure competitive placement.
Ice Times:
Weekly scheduled games on weekday evenings and weekends.
Teams may occasionally be scheduled for a second game within a week.
All games are at UBC’s Doug Mitchell Thunderbird Sports Centre.
Cost:
Teams: $11,350 (taxes included) | $2000 deposit due at time of registration
Individuals: $795
Individual player registration does not require payment at the time of registration.
Payment in full is required once a player has been placed on a team.

No skill or experience restrictions and suitable for rosters with pro, junior and rep experience.

Suitable for rosters mixed with talent, with an overall stronger pool of players with some form of Rep or Junior experience.

Suitable for teams with a mix of talent, some stronger and some weaker players. All skaters should have experience in organized hockey.

Suitable for teams with a mix of talent, some stronger and some weaker players. All skaters should have experience in organized hockey.

Suitable for teams with a mix of talent, some stronger and some weaker players. All skaters should have experience in organized hockey.

No minimum requirement or experience in hockey, although players should be familiar with organized hockey and game rules.
