The competition pool will be closed on Friday, December 5th through to Sunday, December 7th due to the 2025 VPSC Winter Invitational. Competition pool programming will be resumed on Monday, December 8th. Please check the schedule below for more information around programming.

UBC hosts its annual high-level meet – the University Cup Pacific Presented by SI Clubhouse (formerly known as the Colleges Cup), on November 8 and 9 inside the UBC Aquatic Centre.

Aquatic Centre | November Schedule Changes
From November 7 to November 12, there will be a variety of schedule changes due to scheduled events and Remembrance Day. Please read for more information.
Rec Pool Closed | Oct 22
The recreation is closed for the remainder of Wednesday, October 22 and will remain closed until Thursday, October 23, at 12:00 pm. Drop-in sessions scheduled for the recreation pool are also cancelled until then. Please refer to our schedule page for the latest updates.
Traffic Advisory | Great Trek – Oct 25
Patrons should be aware that on Saturday, October 25, 2025, the annual Great Trek will be taking place on campus. To support the course of this event, some significant road closures and impacts will be in place from 7:00AM – 1:30PM on Saturday, October 25, 2025. We would suggest budgeting additional time to travel around on campus on that day.
Hot Tub Closure | Oct 21
Guests of the UBC Aquatic Centre are to be advised that the hot tub will be closed from October 21st for general maintenance.
