Starting September 17th, on Thursdays from 8:00 pm onwards, the Aquatic Centre hosts drop-in facility hours exclusively to UBC students!
UBC Aquatic Centre Closure | September 12
The facility will be closed to the public Saturday, September 12, 2026 for staff training.
UBC Aquatic Centre Adjusted Hours | Aug 13-20
From August 13 to August 20, the UBC Aquatic Centre will see adjusted hours due to hosting the 2026 Junior Pan Pacific Championships. Read here for more information around closures and lesson impacts.

Victoria Day | Reduced Hours & Closures
UBC Recreation’s Sports Facilities will have adjusted hours on Monday, May 18 for Victoria Day. We encourage guests to plan ahead if they are planning to visit our facilities.

The UBC Aquatic Centre is pleased to announce that the Annual Preventative Closure (APC) is complete for 2026, and that we are reopening for full spring term with more regular operating hours and programs as of Monday, April 27.
