UBC Recreation’s Sports Facilities will have several closures and updates throughout the month of April. We encourage guests to plan ahead if they are planning to visit our facilities.
UBC Aquatic Centre Athletes: 2023 PanAm Championships
Congratulations to the 8 Team BC athletes that have been selected to be part of the Men’s and Women’s Youth National Water Polo Teams!
Pool Access & Events | March 17 – 22
From March 17 – 22, UBC will be hosting two exciting events on campus. As these are large events it may cause delays when accessing the UBC Aquatic Centre.
Pool Access & Tri-Du | March 4
Guests of the UBC Aquatic Centre are advised that on Saturday, March 4, the UBC Triathlon Duathlon will be taking place at the UBC Aquatic Centre! Patrons should be aware of the following impact on the pool’s accessibility during the event.
Upcoming Road Closures | March 4
This upcoming Saturday, March 4, 2023, the annual UBC Triathlon Duathlon will be taking place on campus. To support the course of this event, some significant road closures will be in place from 4:00AM-5:00PM on Saturday, March 4.

Student Union Boulevard construction from Monday, Feb 13 to Saturday, Mar 4 will result in delays and detours.
