March 6, 2027 – First Outdoor Triathlon of the Year in BC
Kick off your 2027 race season with BC’s longest running triathlon. With a wide variety of distances and race formats, there is something for everyone. The swimming segment of this triathlon takes place indoors in the UBC Aquatic Centre. The event takes place on UBC’s beautiful campus and you’ll enjoy professional race timing and friendly volunteers to keep you safe and having fun on route.

At the UBC Triathlon Duathlon, there is something for everyone! Whether you are racing your one-hundredth time, or your first time, we are so excited to have you on course with us to kick off the race season in March 2026!
Registration Notes for Students: When registering you won’t be eligible for the student price due to complexities in student eligibilities. Please email ubc.triathlon@ubc.ca to ask any questions and to get student pricing as the 2025/26 school year happens.

- Registration Deadline: Sunday, January 31, 2027, 11:59 PM
- Race Package Pickup & Expo: Thursday, March 4, 2027 – Time TBD

1 A Relay team can consist of 2 or 3 participants, Participants will make exchanges in designated zones located near Cycle Transition. The Relay race use the distances associated to the Sprint Course.
2 The Duathlon is an individual event featuring two 5 km runs and a 20km cycle and no swim portion.

We’re always looking for volunteers to help make this event a success! You’ll have a blast with our staff, get a complimentary volunteer shirt, food throughout your shift, and the opportunity to win big prizes! Opportunities are available at registration, finish line, and on race route.
