S.T.E.A.M'ers

Inventing, problem solving, prototyping, and technology literacy are key skills students need to succeed in our modern, fast-paced world. S.T.E.A.M'ers helps children to explore their curiosity and creativity, in a fun environment. 

Children will experience:

Mindfulness:
Deep breathing, attention training and gratitude journaling to build resilience and a positive “growth” mindset.

Social Connection: Hands-on science experiments, engineering challenges, and arts-based activities to develop their creativity and collaboration skills.

Play: Hands-on S.T.E.A.M. (science, technology, engineering, art, and mathematics) activities to build adaptability, critical thinking and innovation skills.

Required Equipment: Nut-free snacks and lunch, personal pencil case (with pencils, erasers, sharpener, a few markers and colours). On Wednesday only please bring recycled items from home (empty cereal or tissue boxes; plastic water bottles or containers; toilet paper/paper towel cardboard rolls, bubble wrap, etc.).

Location Details: Please note there are 3 different location options for this camp (Hellenic Centre or Evergreen Montessori, or St. Philip's Anglican Church).
