Wildlife Biologists in Training

Calling all future Wildlife Biologists! At this week-long day-camp, your child will be immersed in the fascinating world of wildlife biology. Through exciting and energetic games and land-based learning, your campers will develop their knowledge of the wildlife that call the Salish Sea home! This camp will inspire your child to become a true Wildlife Biologist in Training.

Throughout the week, your child will learn about the captivating critters and native plants living all around us. As your wildlife biologist in training conducts hands-on science experiments and learns to identify local species, they will become familiar with threats to the environment, and what actions can be taken to fiercely protect wildlife!

Exciting activities include:

• Informative games that teach about scientific concepts, such as food webs and predator-prey dynamics
•  Plant and insect identification using scientific tools
•  Exercises focusing on mindfulness and climate anxiety

Please Note: There is NO swimming during this camp.

Required Equipment: Weather-appropriate clothing, hat and sunscreen, a change of clothes, closed-toed shoes that can get wet & muddy, clipboard, pencil case with art supplies (scissors, glue, pencil crayons, markers).

Lunch Details: Lunch food is not included with this camp. Please ensure your camper comes with a lunch, snacks (AM & PM) and enough water to be outside all day.
