Calling all young ocean experts! It’s time for Sea Smart’s Ocean Defenders camp! Come join us for a 1-week day camp of nature exploration. Ocean experts in training will spend the week outdoors learning about fascinating creatures below the waves, and what we can do to protect them. This STEM-focused camp will foster curiosity, creative thinking, and a lifelong connection with the ocean! 

The Ocean Defenders camp uses fun, hands-on games and activities to educate children about current issues impacting the ocean, and how we can help.

Exciting activities include:

• Themed ocean animal days, where campers can dress up as their favourite ocean critters
  
• Creative, interactive games like 'entanglement tag' to learn ocean concepts like overfishing
• Beach cleanups to learn about the 5 R’s of recycling

Please Note: There is NO swimming during this camp.

Required Equipment: Weather-appropriate clothing, hat and sunscreen, a change of clothes, closed-toed shoes that can get wet & muddy, clipboard, pencil case with art supplies (scissors, glue, pencil crayons, markers).

Lunch Details: Lunch food is not included with this camp. Please ensure your camper comes with a lunch, snacks (AM & PM) and enough water to be outside all day.
