Welcome to Martial Arts Classes!

Find focus and build self-confidence while achieving mental and physical strength. UBC Recreation offers a variety of martial arts taught by experienced martial arts instructors who integrate discipline, precision, power, and self-defense into every lesson. The classes we offer, include but are not limited to: Aikido, Tae Kwon Do, Iaido, and Judo. All levels are welcome to connect your mind and body, while developing your own strength, feeling of safety, empowerment and confidence.

NOTICE: Heat & Hot Water Shutdown – Oct. 11 & 12, 2019

FACILITY NOTICE:

Please be advised that the heat and hot water supplying the Student Recreation Centre (SRC), the ARC Fitness Centre in the Life Building, and the Aquatic Centre will be temporarily shut off as construction continues on Student Union Boulevard and the Gage Towers site.

The heat and hot water will be shut off at 7:00pm on Friday, October 11th, and will remain off until 9:00am Sunday, October 13th.

All facilities will remain open during this shut down. Please be advised that, during this time, pool temperatures may vary at the Aquatic Centre.
