This program uses fun, interactive tools to teach reading fundamentals and comprehension skills required to become inspired  readers. We work on the foundational reading skills in a playful way and use storytelling to keep children engaged. Children will work on reading while developing key 21st -century skills through different activities, exercises, and games.

Please Note: This is NOT a reading assessment program.

Children will experience:

Downtime: Deep breathing, attention training, gratitude journaling, and mindfulness practices to build resilience and a positive “growth” mindset.

Social Connection: Active listening, Follow along, Story telling, Role playing, to help each other communicate and learn to read better.

Play: Exploring alphabets, phonics and words together through various play and art based activities and making reading super fun!

Required Equipment: Nut-free snacks and lunch, personal pencil case (with basic writing supplies such as pencils, erasers, ruler, sharpener, a few markers and crayons), and a book they are enjoying reading for downtime during the day.
