What Do I Need to Know to Register a Team?
Follow the steps below to learn how to register for an Intramural League as a Free Agent or for your team. When registering, please take note of the following registration information:
- Team registration for Intramural leagues opens September 3 @1:00pm and closes September 12 @11:59pm
- Free Agent registration for Intramural leagues is only available at the Free Agent Meeting on September 9 & 10, 2025 – details to be provided at a later date.
Follow the steps below to register your team:
- Find a group of people to form a team, and choose what team structure and tier (level of play) you would like to participate in.
- Decide on a captain for the team (only the captain needs to register for the team).
- The captain can then register the team by following the registration links on the desired event or league webpage.
- Please ensure all your contact information is correct and up to date.
- Once successfully registered, the captain will receive a confirmation ticket from communication@perfectmind.com.
- If you don't receive a confirmation, please email intramurals.info@ubc.ca.
- The captain will start receiving email communications regarding next steps for the team (i.e. roster submission, days of play, and rules and regulations) after registration closes on September 12, 2025.
Due to the high interest in Intramural programs, the majority of leagues will sell out before the registration deadline. When registering for the waitlist, the following will occur:
- If a spot becomes available, you will be contacted by email to confirm you are still interested (payment will only be processed once confirmation is received).
- Teams can be moved off the waitlist up until roster deadline on November 1, 2025.
- If you do not receive an email, you can email intramurals.info@ubc.ca to check the status.
Due to high demand for Intramural Leagues, we strongly recommend signing up for an alternative league when adding yourself to the waitlist.
What Do I Do If I Don't Have a Team Yet?
Attend the Free Agent Meeting on Tuesday, September 9 for “Women (Trans Women Welcome)” teams or Wednesday, September 10 for all other categories from 6:00-8:00PM, for an opportunity to meet like-minded individuals looking to form a team. Individuals who form a team at the meeting will have an opportunity to register on the spot. Specific information on availabilities and other details will be available at a later date.
