Free Agent Meeting | September 11 & 12, 2024

What to do before the meeting:

• Have your UBC Recreation Login set up on your mobile device.
• Have your credit card information, email, and phone number readily on-hand that are associated with your UBC Recreation Login.
  • Please note: credit card is the preferred payment option, there will be additional wait times for those wanting to pay by cash or debit card. 
• Plan your time of arrival – the number of available spots are limited and are first-come-first-served.
• Review the available leagues at the meeting below to get an idea of what you want to play in prior to attending.
  • Please note: Roundnet, Badminton, and Pickleball will be not offered at the Free Agent Meeting. 

What to expect during the meeting:

• Participants will line-up and enter at the southeast corner of the SRC (between the UBC Aquatic Centre and SRC); line-up will extend west
• Participants will be given a token prior to entry that will be collected when they complete payment for their desired league (this token guarantees one spot in a league).
• Staff will facilitate meeting groups based on the attendees’ preferred league sport, participation structure, and level of play.
• Once the minimum number of attendees for a team is reached, Staff will guide the team members through the registration process.
• To sign up for another league, attendees must line-up again to receive a second token to register for an additional team.
