National Drowning Prevention Week (NDPW) – the third week of July – is an annual initiative of the Lifesaving Society aimed at reducing the number of water-related fatalities and drowning incidents by promoting water safety messages in the community. Aquatic Centre Facility Closure | June 21 – 23
The UBC Aquatic Centre will be closed to the public Friday, June 21 – Sunday, June 23, 2024 to host the Mel Zajac Jr. International Swim Meet. The facility will return to our regular programming as of Monday, June 24, 2024.
