UBC Aquatic Centre Reopens April 21
The UBC Aquatic Centre is pleased to announce that the Annual Preventative Maintenance Closure (APMC) is complete for 2024, and that we are reopening with limited programming on Sunday, April 21. Limited programming will be available during the first week of operations.
Aquatic Centre Scheduled Closure | April 28
Guests of the UBC Aquatic Centre are to be advised that the UBC Aquatic Centre will be closed on Sunday, April 28 to allow for an all staff training day. The UBC Aquatic Centre will re-open for normal operating hours on Monday, April 29.
Easter Long Weekend | Reduced Hours
UBC Sports Facilities will have adjusted hours for the upcoming Easter Long Weekend on Friday, March 29 – Monday, April 1. We encourage guests to plan ahead if they are planning to visit our facilities.

Upcoming Road Closures | March 9
Patrons should be aware that on Saturday, March 9, 2024, the annual UBC Triathlon Duathlon will be taking place on campus. To support the course of this event, some significant road closures will be in place from 4:00 AM – 5:00 PM on Saturday, March 9.

Introducing Wristbands for 2024
Starting this Winter term, all Community Swim Leisure Pool participants during peak drop-in times are required to wear a wristband. This will ensure that guests who have paid for the drop-in leisure pool swim have the proper access.
