The competition pool will be closed on Saturday, January 17 for the T-Bird Winter Warm Up.

Free Week is back January 5 – 11, 2026! Try over 80 FREE classes open to all Students, Staff & Faculty, and the public.
UBC Aquatic Centre Closed | Jan 10
The facility will be closed to the public Saturday, January 10, 2026 for staff training. We encourage guests of the UBC Aquatic Centre to check the UBC Aquatic Centre schedule prior to each visit for the most up-to-date information. The facility will return to our regular programming as of Sunday, January 11, 2026.
Thursdays Are Student Nights at the Aquatic Centre!
Starting Jan 15th, on Thursdays from 8:00 pm onwards, the Aquatic Centre hosts drop-in facility hours exclusively to UBC students! Whether you want to chill in the hot tub, relax in the sauna or play basketball in the leisure pool – do whatever floats your boat!
Aquatic Centre Closure | Dec 23
Due to unforeseen maintenance issues, the Aquatic Centre will be closing at 1 pm on December 23rd.
